Step-by-Step Application Guide

1
Visit npftas.pk and Create Your Account
Open a browser on your phone or computer and go to npftas.pk/register. Click “New Registration” or “Create Account.” Enter your CNIC number, mobile number, and email address — these must be accurate, as all future test updates and Roll No. Slips will be sent to them.
2
Verify Your Mobile Number with OTP
After registration, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number by SMS. Enter this OTP on the portal to verify your account. The OTP expires within 5 minutes — if it doesn’t arrive, use the “Resend OTP” option.
3
Log In and Select Your Post
Once your account is verified, log in and navigate to the “Apply for Post” section. All available FIA posts will be listed — Constable, Sub-Inspector, ASI, LDC, and others. Select the specific post you wish to apply for.
4
Complete the Application Form
Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and domicile information carefully. Select the correct provincial or regional quota — this must match your Domicile Certificate. Double-check every field before submitting. Providing false information at any stage results in cancellation of candidature and potential legal action.
5
Submit the Form and Get Your PSID
After submitting the form, a 24-digit PSID (Payment System ID) will be generated on your fee challan. Save this number — take a screenshot or write it down. This PSID is required to pay your application fee and cannot be recovered if lost.
6
Pay the Rs. 2,000 Application Fee
Use your PSID to pay Rs. 2,000 via JazzCash, EasyPaisa, UPaisa, internet banking, ATM, or bank counter. The fee is non-refundable. Save your payment confirmation receipt or screenshot as proof.
7
Confirm Your Application Status
After payment, log back into the portal and check your application status — it should show “Submitted” or “Confirmed.” Note your application number. All future updates — Roll No. Slips, test dates, and stage notifications — will arrive via SMS, email, or the portal.
Practical Tip: Keep your mobile number and email active throughout the recruitment process. Roll No. Slips and test schedule updates are sent via SMS and email. Check the portal regularly as well.

Once your PSID is generated, pay Rs. 2,000 via any of the following 1Link-1Bill supported methods:

🏧

💵
Bank Counter
Cash payment at any branch — show PSID
Applying for Multiple Posts: If you are eligible for more than one post — for example, both Constable and ASI — you must submit separate applications and pay a separate Rs. 2,000 for each. One application is valid for one post only.

Documents Required at Interview Stage

No documents need to be uploaded or submitted during the online application process. The following are only required at the interview stage for shortlisted candidates:

  • Original CNIC and a set of attested photocopies
  • Original educational degrees and certificates (HEC/Board verified) with attested copies
  • Original Domicile Certificate with a copy — matching the province selected in your application
  • Roll No. Slip for the interview stage — downloaded from the portal or received by SMS
  • Passport as an alternative if CNIC is unavailable
  • Current government employees: NOC from their department
  • Constable Driver and Staff Car Driver applicants: Original valid driving license
Important: All documents must be authentic. Submitting false or forged documents at any stage — including after employment — results in cancellation of candidature and legal action, as stated in FIA’s official advertisement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the official website to apply for FIA Jobs 2026?
+
The only official application portal is npftas.pk — National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service. No other website, agent, or third party has any role in FIA recruitment. Apply only here and pay only the Rs. 2,000 fee through the official portal’s PSID system.
Do I need to upload documents when applying online?
+
No — no documents need to be uploaded or submitted during the online application process. Only candidates who are shortlisted and reach the interview stage are required to bring original documents along with attested copies — degrees, CNIC, and Domicile Certificate.
Can I apply for more than one post?
+
Yes — but a separate application and a separate Rs. 2,000 fee are required for each post. One application covers one post only. If applying for two posts, ensure the test schedules do not overlap, as you must appear for each independently.
When and how will I receive my Roll No. Slip?
+
Roll No. Slips are issued through the application portal at npftas.pk and also sent via SMS and email. A separate Roll No. Slip is issued for each stage — physical test, written exam, skill test, and interview. No candidate is permitted to enter any test without presenting their Roll No. Slip along with original CNIC or Passport.
Can I edit my application after submitting it?
+
Government recruitment portals generally do not permit editing after submission. This makes it important to review every detail — CNIC, education, domicile, and quota — before clicking submit. If you suspect an error has been made, contact the NPF-TAS helpline at 051-8466800 immediately to check whether a correction is possible.
